What are cookies?

Cookies are small pieces of information that a website can store on your device. Other technologies that read or store information on a device may be subject to the same rules.

What does our own website code use?

The code added by EdgeIT does not set its own cookies and does not use localStorage or sessionStorage. The language switch opens a Swedish or English URL; our code does not save your language choice on your device.

We have not added Google Analytics, advertising pixels, embedded maps, videos or social feeds. There are therefore no cookies from such additions to opt into within our own website code.

Hosting platform and statistics

The website uses OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare’s technical infrastructure. Sites records traffic automatically and provides visitor and page-view statistics, without us installing a separate analytics script.

Any technical storage for the hosting platform’s security or features is governed by the provider’s implementation. This information is not a complete inventory of platform cookies. Contact info@edgeit.se to ask about a particular cookie, its purpose or duration. OpenAI’s cookie policy covers several OpenAI services and should not be treated as a list of cookies set on this particular website.

Fonts and external websites

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which involves a connection to Google when the page is displayed. An external request is not, in itself, the same as a cookie. Read more in our privacy policy.

Links to services such as LinkedIn, Google Maps and Splashtop open external sites. Their cookie and privacy rules apply when you visit them.

Your choices

You can view, block and delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary technology may affect how a website works. If we introduce our own features with cookies requiring consent, those features must wait for your active choice and you must be able to withdraw consent.
